Attabad: freeboard report 28th May

The media in Pakistan are reporting that the freeboard is now 2 feet (61 cm). Assuming that this was taken at the normal measuring time (i.e. 3 pm local time) the freeboard graph looks like this:
Jean Schneider, who is on site and flew over the spillway today, reports that overtopping should begin overnight.
thanks David for your continues contribution for informing us. Now possibly water has to flow in the night no one Knows what kind of morning it will be in Pakistan. our hope is for its smooth passage.

news says it will overflow at 12 tonight. I have 12 relatives who agreed to move to higher ground but despite Gilgit being 0-40 metres above river no one is evacuating except on riverside
