True, personal science stories at AGU17

There were so many great science communication and policy opportunities at Fall Meeting. I say this, 1) selfishly as we in the Sharing Science program had a full week o programming, and 2) in full acknowledgement and excitement at all the other stuff that happened at the meeting!
This year we did something a little different. We worked with The Story Collider, a science storytelling organization that brings in folks to tell true, personal stories about science. They have regular shows all over the country but also regularly host shows in conjunction with conferences. (I’m also one of the hosts/producers for the Washington, DC show and sometimes travel with Story Collider, like I did for AGU17.)
For our AGU17 show, we heard true, personal science stories from:
- Kim Cobb
- Julia Kumari Drapkin
- Don Hood
- Hannah Mark
- Sarah Myhre
Learn more about our storytellers and hear their stories!
