True Colour MODIS image of Icelandic Ash Cloud

The NASA MODIS satellite grabbed a gorgeous shot of the ash cloud that has shut down air traffic over the UK and portions of Western Europe today. There is also a beautiful high resolution shot of the UK I am posting here as well. Also taken today. The UK image is big so give your browser a second to handle it if you are on a slow connection.
