The offshore weather buoys are now indicating winds of 20 knots sustained from the south. This will mix the oil some but also push it toward shore. More soon.
Unless you watched a certain American TV show from the 1960’s you might not get the title to this post but suffice it to say the situation on the Gulf Coast is dire tonight. The oil has reached the Louisiana Coast and the smell of it is widespread all the way to Alabama. The winds have really picked up across the gulf and the seas are now running at 6-8 …
