Every Tuesday (Editor’s Note: Apologies that this is coming out a day later due to Fall Meeting), Patricia Yaya, AGU Vice President of Human Resources & Administrative Services, sends a message to the entire AGU staff featuring five short tips for getting by in the workplace.  On the Job will be publishing these tips in a new weekly segment, Tuesday Top 5.

The AGU Human Resources & Admin Service teams wish you a peaceful and safe holiday season. No matter where you are in your career stage, it is important to make time for yourself and those you care about, especially around the holidays.

In the spirit of the Tuesday Top 5, here are your top 5 tips to have a happy holiday:

1. Spend time with and enjoy family, friends and loved ones. Travel safely.
2. Eat and drink responsibly.
3. Find time and space to relax.
4. Reflect on what you have accomplished this year personally and professionally.
5. Look forward to 2018.

Tuesday Top 5 will take a holiday hiatus, but we will return on 2 January!
