Landslides post-doctoral position at the University of East Anglia

I am currently looking to take on a post-doctoral researcher to work with me on landslides here at the University of East Anglia (UEA).  This is a three year research post with the title of Senior Research Associate – Landslide Hazards and Impacts.  The aim would be to work with me in particular on a number of projects, including:

  • Developing and analysing the global landslide database;
  • Contributing to the UEA component of the Earthquakes Without Frontiers research project, focusing in particular on seismically-induced landslides in Nepal;
  • Contributing to our three year Newton Fund research project on seismically-induced landslides in Chile (joining a research team that includes the University of Chile, The University of Leeds and Durham University);
  • Working with me on other research projects as and when they occur.

There will also be some opportunity to develop your own research ideas and publications.
