Voyage to the White Shark Café: Pop-up tags – Video Update

As the #WhiteSharkVoyage recovers more pop-up satellite archival tags, researchers are able to piece together a better picture of how the sharks are behaving here. For example, the diving behavior of males and females are very different: males are diving up and down on the order of 120 times a day! However, the females are diving in a diel vertical migration – up to shallow water at night, then during the day to the 200-400 meter range. Check out the video below to learn more!
