Gabrielle is a graduate student at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology. She became fascinated by marine biology as she completed her last year of high school while sailing around the Atlantic. While earning a B.Sc. in biology at Laval University in Quebec, Canada, she has been involved in active climate change research and took part in expeditions to study our planet’s remotest marine ecosystems in the Canadian Arctic and in French Polynesia. Through her career, she aspires to keep raising awareness and educate the general public on climate change, coral reefs conservation, and diversity and women in sciences.
