Emily Iskin

Emily is a fluvial geomorphology PhD candidate at Colorado State University. She got her BS in Biological Systems Engineering at UC Davis in 2015, her Professional Civil Engineering license in California in 2018, and her MS in Geosciences at CSU in 2020. Her MS work focused on large wood storage and wildfire in Yosemite National Park, and her PhD work focusses on floodplain heterogeneity across the United States. She is passionate about natural resources, teaching, and science communication. When she is not in the office, Emily can be found on a trail, at a lake, or in a tent.
