The Future of Weather Forecasting May Be in Your Backyard or Your Smart Phone

There are over 50,000 backyard weather stations online now. This has the potential to greatly improve short-term and perhaps even long-range forecasts.
I did a piece about the growing number of backyard weather stations that aired on Monday, and I thought I would share it with you. I also talk about the growing number of weather apps and smart phone sensors, that I’ve mentioned here before.
