Tamara Marcus is a graduate student at the University of New Hampshire investigating microbial controls on methane emissions in the Arctic. She is also working with physical and social scientists as well as indigenous communities in the US, Australia, and Sweden to develop decision-making tools that help communities get insights and answers to critical questions related to climate and extreme weather events.
