Libby Ives

Libby is a Ph.D. Candidate and Distinguished Dissertator Fellow in the Department of Geosciences at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She is an alumna of Northern Michigan University (B.S. Earth Science) and Iowa State University (M.S. Geology). As a native of the Great Lakes Region, Libby has always been fascinated by the power glaciers have to reshape landscapes. This fascination is reflected in her research, which focuses on glacier processes and the variable geologic records they leave behind – on times scales between ten and 300 Million years! Libby finds joy in sharing her science with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
