Dylan Blaskey is a Civil Engineering PhD student at the University of Colorado – Boulder. His research focuses on how climate change will alter large scale water systems and the effect these changes will have on the people who depend on them. Currently, he is working with Indigenous people in Alaska to understand how warming rivers will alter hunting, fishing, and transportation corridors.

Project Description: This grant will support the creation of two guiding documents on how to co-produce research with Indigenous people. One document will be a journal article for academics on how to create and fund co-produced research, and the second document will be created for Indigenous communities to understand how they can get involved with research projects. Just like the research these documents will be created in a truly collaborative way with both western and Indigenous authors.
