We were founded by four Black female shark researchers. We strive to be seen and take up space in a discipline which has been largely inaccessible for women like us. We believe diversity in scientists creates diversity in thought, which leads to innovation.
Project Description: Shark Madness is a spoof of March Madness where various shark species compete for the popular vote across social media platforms. It is a chance for people to learn about some of the lesser known shark species and engage with sharks and their relatives in a positive way. Last year, the thresher shark came out on top, but who will take the championship this year???
