Coosa Riverkeeper’s mission is to protect, restore, and promote the Coosa River and its tributaries in Alabama. We are a citizen-based nonprofit organization working to improve water quality, protect valuable habitat, and promote recreation and public health along the Coosa River. We patrol the waterways, educate the public, and advocate for the river.

Project Description: Our project is “How is Water Quality Monitored? An animated short.” We are creating an animated short that illustrates the process of water quality monitoring and how it is useful to the public. Because water quality conditions are always changing, it is important that the public is educated and informed about how to protect themselves from water pollution!
