Cintia Freitas is a biologist with a Ph.D. in ecology and passionate about science communication to young children. Cintia began writing tales for her two little daughters and the writing went on and on. Today she counts with more than 20 tales, some of them in a blog, and one of them is submitted to a professional editor.

Project Description: In the project “Botanical blindness: Look around and find the amazing world of plants” She plans to illustrate and print 156 copies of a ludic history she created talking about the way people look but don’t actually see the plants. Cintia’s intent is to increase awareness about the role of plants as ecosystem builders and climate regulators and why it is important to conserve them.
