Ulyana Horodyskyj
Ulyana Horodyskyj is a geologist/glaciologist working as a communications specialist at the University of Colorado Boulder’s North Central Climate Adaptation Science Center. Ulyana received her BS from Rice University; Masters from Brown University; PhD from CU Boulder; and completed a post-doc with the National Snow and Ice Data Center. In 2013/14, she was the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship and lived abroad in Nepal for 10 months, finishing her PhD and launching a citizen science program called The Sherpa-Scientist Initiative. When not at work, you can find Ulyana out in the mountains of Colorado with her husband, Ricardo, climbing the state’s 100 highest peaks.
