Sahil Bhandari
Sahil is currently postdoctoral research and teaching fellow at UBC Vancouver and a senior researcher on an app-based citizen science project called Smell Vancouver, with 7 years of total experience in atmospheric science. At UT Austin, he helped establish the first mass spectrometry-based study of fine aerosols in Delhi, India and conducted and analyzed experiments at AQ-SPEC (South Coast AQMD) for development of the ASTM standard for low-cost PM2.5 sensors (ASTM D8405-21). Over the long term, Sahil hopes to actively shape environmental policy and contribute to organizations designing and implementing targeted solutions to tackle air pollution and climate change.
