Noelani Boise
Noelani is an environmental and molecular microbiologist with over 7 years of experience in academic and national labs. Noelani’s current research involves method development of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) for toxin analysis of Harmful Algal Blooms. Her driving motivation in my STEM career is to ensure the preservation of precious water resources and surrounding ecosystems; water is life and we have a responsibility to be environmental stewards.
Noelani volunteers as a STEM ambassador through Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and have worked/volunteered as a part-time dance teacher for the past 5 years. Her hobbies include social dancing, hiking, paddle boarding with my dog Niko, volunteering with local organic farms, jewelry-making and anything related to visual and performing arts.
