Becky Forgrave is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) hosted at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Cincinnati. Her research focuses on modeling the effectiveness of agricultural wetland restoration for reducing downstream nitrate loads. Previous work during her Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh research investigated the hydrologic and biogeochemical connections between buried urban streams and aging sewer infrastructure. She is passionate about community-driven science, creative stormwater solutions, and advocating for safer city streets for cyclists and pedestrians.
