Five Awesome Things about the James Webb Space Telescope
Posted by Ryan Anderson
Today I received an email from my adviser containing this – dare I say – awesome video about the James Webb Space Telescope. It also has a surprisingly well-put answer to the age-old question of “Why spend money on NASA when we have so many problems here on earth?” The answer: To make the world a better place you not only have to decrease the suck, you also have to increase the awesome.
(Hat tip to my thesis adviser for sending this video and proposing NASA’s new motto: “Decrease the suck, increase the awesome.”)

I can get behind that motto!
Awesome video, thanks for the tip.
The video was fabulous — but I kept thinking, well, unless one is playing the harmonica like Stevie Wonder, in which case, by increasing the suck AND the blow, one is simultaneously increasing the awesome!
As a classically trained musician, I thank you for a video explaining things in terms I could understand!
Sincerely,
Wendy Lee
