Was sorry to hear the racial overtones raised, however. I think this goes back to overall zero intolerance of anything by the schools. They implement unbendable rules and then have no choice but to enforce. Down here in Naples, FL school system took a kid (white) without a criminal record and threw him in a criminal rehab program because he stupidly brought a plastic gun to a bus stop. Yeah, in the guise of safety, we’ll force good kids (overall) into a criminal sphere. Stupid is as stupid does.
