Toledo March for Science

Posted by John Freeland

Off to Toledo to March for Science! Updates later this morning!

10AM at the International Park Pavilion in East Toledo. Temperature 45F, partly cloudy with a steady breeze from the north.

Facing west across the Maumee River toward downtown Toledo, speakers are getting ready to present.

A variety of posters, some with a political slant, some without.

Great Lakes Restoration Initiative representing.

Speakers finished, we head out across the river to Imagination Station.

A blunt message for “Joe Sixpack.”

Across the Cherry Street drawbridge.

Demonstration tables at Imagination Station hands-on science museum.

The one negative experience of the day: the wind blew my hat off and into the river as I turned around to face north after taking this picture of Langmuir currents.
