Ryan Haupt

Ryan Haupt is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Wyoming using stable isotope and other proxies to better understand the (paleo)ecology of living and extinct sloths. He is also serving as the 2019-2020 Science Policy Fellow for the Geological Society of America in Washington, D.C. He is currently the Program co-chair for the 127-year-old Geological Society of Washington. He is the co-creator and primary host of the podcast Science… sort of, which has released over 300 episodes and been downloaded nearly 3 million times around the world. He likes comics, craft beer, and hiking with his wife and dog.
