Robert Perrin

Robert Perrin is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Calgary where he’s studying the plumbing beneath the seafloor along the west coast of British Columbia and Alaska in order to improve our understanding of the tsunami risk that this region poses. Prior to his PhD studies, he worked in the Athabasca oil sands where he used geophysical methods to study the relationship between mining in the oil sands and the environment. In his spare time he is an avid mountain biker and will take any opportunity to get out of the city and into the woods.
