Alexandre Martinez

Alexandre Martinez is a civil engineer born and raised in a small town in France, where he received his graduate education in engineering at the Ecole Centrale in Lille, prior to moving to Texas in 2011, where he received in MSc at UT Austin. He is currently Ph.D. candidate advised by Dr. AghaKouchak at the University of California Irvine, where he is looking at linking local extremes to regional nutrition deficiency in developing countries. He is also interested in using new technologies to develop multi-stakeholder inclusive tools to support decision making related to the communication and mitigation of climate change impacts.
