I am an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, Georgia. I am passionate about teaching, learning, and making science accessible to anyone who is interested. My research interests are rooted in biogeochemistry and the role of coastal marine invertebrates in organic matter and nutrient cycling. I am originally from San Luis Obispo, California and was fortunate to do my graduate studies in Marine and Environmental Science in Okinawa, Japan. Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy running, swimming, traveling, spending time with our two crazy cats, and enjoying delicious foods!
