I’m a PhD candidate in Earth System Science at UC Irvine. My main research interest is terrestrial ecosystem ecology – specifically, I study climate change impacts on California vegetation and wildfire risk. This involves using machine learning and remote sensing tools for geospatial data analysis. Prior to my program at UC Irvine, I graduated with BS degrees in Geophysical Sciences and Environmental Science from The University of Chicago in 2017. I’m also an NSF graduate research fellowship recipient and help lead climate-related educational outreach projects off campus.
