Clarice Perryman

Clarice Perryman holds a BA in Geology from Earlham College and a MS in Earth Science from the University of New Hampshire. She is currently enrolled in the UNH Natural Resources & Earth Systems Science PhD Program where she researches the effects of climate change on emissions of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas, from peatlands in New England and in the Arctic where permafrost peatlands are rapidly thawing. She has participated in science policy advocacy from local to federal levels throughout her time in graduate school, and is also part of the UNH Women in Science organization leadership team.
