Dr. Jennifer Verdolin is a widely regarded animal behavior scientist, author, and science communicator. Jennifer has been a featured guest on BBC Earth Podcast, National Public Radio, and many others. After the publication of her two nonfiction popular science books, Wild Connection and Raised by Animals, Jennifer has been using her expertise to contribute to the development and production of documentaries, launching Wild Connection: The Podcast and creating short YouTube science videos on her YouTube Channel, Wild Connection TV. She is also an Assistant Professor of Practice in the School of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of Arizona.

Project Description: This project will leverage multi-media tools to provide women in STEM fields the opportunity to share their work, broaden their impact, and raise their profiles in the public sector. A short video featuring their latest research will be produced and shared via YouTube, other social media platforms as well as the scientist’s home institution. In addition, a podcast episode will be produced for Wild Connection: The Podcast allowing for a deeper conversation about their work.
