Carissa Cabrera is a marine biologist and the CEO of The Conservationist Collective, an environmental media company. She focuses on conservation communication and outreach through media, with a goal of inspiring everyone to care for our oceans.

Project Description: With AGU funding, The Conservationist Collective will be able to launch the first season of Sustainability & The Sea, a podcast dedicated to ocean conservation. These episodes interview wave-makers for our oceans across many different backgrounds, from science to nonprofits to media. Each episode is designed to show listeners a way they can participate in marine conservation with their unique skills and passions.
