Sangeetha Puthigai earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University and is currently a master’s student in the Department of Oceanography at Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on understanding organic contaminants in the coastal environment and in protected wildlife. She is passionate about environmental justice and bridging the gap between science and society. In her free time, Sangeetha enjoys birding, doing yoga, and painting.
