Mahta G. Ansari is a PhD candidate in the Department of Earth Science & Environmental Change at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned a M.S. in Geological Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a B.S. in Mining Engineering from University of Tehran. Her research focuses on groundwater contamination by chromium and a better understanding of the geochemical behavior of chromium in natural settings. She is passionate about science communication, raising awareness about social issues, and podcasts!
