Do you think you have what it takes to create the next viral video or geo-style trend? Prove it by taking part in the 2014 Student T-shirt Design and Student Video contests.
The winner of each contest will receive free registration to the 2014 AGU Fall Meeting. Plus, T-Shirts with the winning design will be sold at the AGU Fall Meeting, with proceeds going to the Student Travel Grant Fund. More about each contest is below.
Student Video Contest
Lights! Camera! Science! AGU’s Student Video Contest is back and we want to see your talent. Create a unique short video to share your love of science with the world. Highlight an aspect of Earth or space science in an entertaining way for a non-scientific audience, tell an autobiographical story of an interesting geophysical career path, or even perform a song or skit on Earth or space science subjects.
Learn more about eligibility, video requirements, suggested approaches, and how to enter the Student Video Contest here.
Student T-Shirt Design Contest
Style is not an art form, but a science! Show off your awesome graphic design talents by creating a one-of-a-kind T-shirt with an Earth or space theme. The winning design will appear on T-shirts sold at Fall Meeting and proceeds will be donated to the Student Travel Grant Fund.
Learn more about eligibility, T-shirt requirements, and how to enter the Student T-Shirt Design Contest here.
The submission deadline for both contests is 2 September.
