Our New View of Vesta

Just a quick post to point you to an amazing video of Vesta rotating, made by Tayfun Öner by interpolating between 64 images taken by Dawn from orbit.
Just think, this is the best picture we had of Vesta before Dawn got there:

It’s so crazy to realize that far away places are REAL. Videos like this really drive it home for me–Stuff out there changes, stuff out there is made of rocks, you could go there and touch those rocks. Crazy.
