For example, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/2020\/01\/08\/bududa-landslides\/\">in 2018 at least 50 people were killed in Bududa in Uganda<\/a>, whilst K<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/2018\/05\/10\/karongi-1\/\">arongi in Rwanda suffered a major landslide, also in 2018, which killed 18 people<\/a>.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heavy rainfall on 2 and 3 May 2023 has inflicted a heavy toll from landslides and floods in Rwanda and Uganda.
