It\u2019s huge. Our boundary is just down here\u2026 Basically 99 per cent of it missed us, you know what I mean,\u201d Clive Foster said of the downhill effects of Cyclone Gabrielle.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><em>\u201cWe just said ****, we\u2019re both alive, no one got injured, the house is all functioning like it was last week, it\u2019s all fine. Really speaking, it\u2019s great. What the hell? We\u2019re alive. Image dated 20 February 2023.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>The level of landslide events is similar to that caused by the infamous <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cyclone_Bola\">Cyclone Bola in 1988<\/a>, which also triggered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stuff.co.nz\/business\/farming\/101847286\/three-decades-since-cyclone-bola-devastated-the-east-coast\">large numbers of shallow failures<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<h4>Reference and acknowledgement<\/h4>\n<p>Planet Team (2023).
