Image captured 3 October 2022.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution of the imagery is not good enough to understand this slide properly.\u00a0 It may well have played a role in the development of the main failure.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, as of three days ago the five victims of the landslide had not been recovered, and there is concern about the damming of the river as well as about the potential for a further landslide.\u00a0 A small lake has developed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.laopinion.com.co\/region\/urgen-expertos-para-atender-la-tragedia-en-villa-caro\">The landslide destroyed 670 hectares of land, whilst 130 people have been rendered homeless.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Reference and acknowledgements<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The images are from the wonderful people at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planet.com\/\">Planet Labs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Planet Team (2022).
