{"id":40897,"date":"2022-05-16T07:03:35","date_gmt":"2022-05-16T07:03:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/?p=40897"},"modified":"2022-05-16T07:04:51","modified_gmt":"2022-05-16T07:04:51","slug":"assam-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/2022\/05\/16\/assam-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Assam: damaging landslides at the start of the monsoon"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Assam: damaging landslides at the start of the monsoon<\/h4>\n<p>Over the last few days parts of the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/?s=assam&amp;submit.x=0&amp;submit.y=0&amp;mswhere=blog\">state of Assam<\/a> in NE <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/?s=india&amp;submit.x=0&amp;submit.y=0&amp;mswhere=blog\">India<\/a> has suffered from serious rainfall, resulting in flood and landslides.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/floodlist.com\/asia\/india-floods-assam-meghalaya-may-2022\">At least five fatalities have been reported<\/a>, including three in a landslide in Dima Hasao district.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/sdmassam.nic.in\/reports.html\">The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) produces a daily flood report<\/a> &#8211;
