The Lowell Point landslide in Alaska<\/h4>\n

On Saturday 7 May 2022 a substantial landslide occurred near to Lowell Point<\/a>, in the Seward area of Alaska<\/a> in the USA.\u00a0 The landslide has blocked the only road into the community.<\/p>\n

The landslide, which is located at about 60.093, -149.445, is estimated to be about 60 metres high and 90 m wide.\u00a0 As of Sunday, the landslide was still considered to be potentially unstable, impeding clearance operations.<\/p>\n
