{"id":3565,"date":"2011-08-31T05:55:22","date_gmt":"2011-08-31T05:55:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/?p=3565"},"modified":"2011-08-31T05:55:23","modified_gmt":"2011-08-31T05:55:23","slug":"garbage-dump-landslide-in-the-philippines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/2011\/08\/31\/garbage-dump-landslide-in-the-philippines\/","title":{"rendered":"Garbage dump landslide in the Philippines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-2032012\/Garbage-landslide-Five-people-missing-rubbish-floods-city-dump-site-walls-collapse-Typhoon-Nanmadol.html?ito=feeds-newsxml\">Daily Mail has an online article this morning<\/a> with a set of images of the garbage dump landslide that was triggered by Typhoon Nanmadol at the Irisan dumpsite in the city of Baguio in the Philippines earlier this week.\u00a0 The garbage <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mb.com.ph\/articles\/332660\/denr-warns-baguio-landslides\">reportedly buried<\/a> at least 20 houses.\u00a0 Three bodies of children have been <a href=\"http:\/\/gulfnews.com\/news\/world\/philippines\/garbage-shift-after-trash-slide-toll-1.859292\">recovered<\/a>;
