{"id":27657,"date":"2018-05-04T07:13:36","date_gmt":"2018-05-04T07:13:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/?p=27657"},"modified":"2018-05-04T07:13:36","modified_gmt":"2018-05-04T07:13:36","slug":"chongqing-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/2018\/05\/04\/chongqing-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Chongqing: a dramatic rockfall video from China last month"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Chongqing: a dramatic rockfall video from China last month<\/h4>\n<p>The Chinese news agency <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IFWcBLIvJTo\">Xinhua has posted a dramatic video on Youtube<\/a> showing dashcam footage of a <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/2016\/04\/07\/three-new-landslide-videos-two-dashcam-films-from-china-and-a-video-from-gns-about-earthquake-triggered-rockfalls\/\">large rockfall<\/a> in SW China on 9th April 2018.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/weather.com\/news\/trending\/video\/rockslide-unleashes-boulders-on-highway-in-chongqing-china\">According to the Weather Channel<\/a> this occurred in Chongqing.\u00a0 I cannot find much more information about this event:-<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IFWcBLIvJTo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>The image below is not clear, but it shows the small pick-up truck that was on the road at the time of the rockfall.
