a dramatic landslide video from Turkey"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>Yaglidere landslide<\/h5>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.agu.org\/landslideblog\/2016\/02\/18\/yaglidere-landslide-1\/\">Please note I have posted more information about, and a new video of, this landslide at Yaglidere in a follow up post.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Lb-bMabp0cg\">This video was posted on Youtube<\/a> on 11th February 2016.\u00a0 It appears to have occurred at <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ya%C4%9Fl%C4%B1dere\">Yaglidere<\/a> in Giresun, Turkey.\u00a0 The comments that accompany it are in Turkish &#8211; Google Translate makes an interesting job of it (I have added some comments):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">Giresun<\/span><span class=\"atn\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"\">YA\u011eLIDERE<\/span> [Yaglidere in the English spelling] <span class=\"hps\">recently<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">softened<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">due to<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">rains<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">caused a<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">landslide<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">territory<\/span>. <span class=\"hps\">The<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">landslide<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">occurred<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">on a mountain<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">roadside<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">husband [I think husband is a mistranslation here &#8211;
