International Symposium on Earthquake-induced Landslides, November 2012

The Japan Landslide Society and various partners are organising an International Symposium on Earthquake-Induced Landslides from 7th to 9th November 2012, to be held in Kiryu, Japan. The conference website is now online; the deadline for abstracts is 20th December 2011.
Dave Petley is the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. His blog provides commentary and analysis of landslide events occurring worldwide, including the landslides themselves, latest research, and conferences and meetings.
