Wilgewandel Weather Stones
Posted by Evelyn Mervine
Stones that know the weather? Surely, that’s pseudoscience!
Not when you follow these guidelines:
You can find these Weather Stones at the Wilgewandel Holiday Farm in Outdshoorn, South Africa.
They missed:
“If the stones are floating, you ate the WRONG mushrooms.”
I’ve seen a similar version where the rock was hung from a rope, so you could judge the wind by the angle the rock hung at. (If the rock is missing, you’re in a tornado.)
Also similar: “You can use Mt Taranaki to predict the weather. If you can see the mountain, that means it is going to rain. If you can’t see the mountain, it is raining.”
