Help NASA collect 2017 Solar Eclipse data
The 2017 solar eclipse presents many opportunities for everyone to get involved in doing science before/during/after the eclipse. NASA has collected a number of citizen science programs at every level from the most basic observations to publishable research opportunities in partnership with NASA and university scientists.
Laura Guertin is a Distinguished Professor of Earth Sciences at Penn State Brandywine in Media, PA. Her research focuses on how technology can enhance teaching and student learning in introductory-level geoscience courses for non-science majors. Her blog focuses on geoscience education/outreach, science communication, and technology tools in the classroom, online, and in the field.
