The Changing Chesapeake – an exhibit on climate change and the Chesapeake community
What happens when a call is put out to a community to explore the intersections of climate change and a geographic region, and to share their views and reflections via art? You end up with an amazing collection of works generated through voices, hands, and hearts.
Laura Guertin is a Distinguished Professor of Earth Sciences at Penn State Brandywine in Media, PA. Her research focuses on how technology can enhance teaching and student learning in introductory-level geoscience courses for non-science majors. Her blog focuses on geoscience education/outreach, science communication, and technology tools in the classroom, online, and in the field.
