Skeiðarárjökull Glacier is a large outlet glacier draining south from Iceland’s largest ice cap Vatnajökull. This glacier is well known for the massive glacier outburst floods, jökulhlaup, that are generated by Iceland’s most active volcano, Grímsvötn.
