As part of our continuing series designed to help participants in the Virtual Poster Showcase, we’ve created a video tutorial showing how to create a scientific poster. The video specifically shows the steps needed to create a scientific poster using PowerPoint. Though the video is intended for AGU Virtual Poster Showcase participants, the same steps can be applied to creating posters for any conference.

This video will walk you through the steps of creating a scientific poster, but it is by no means an authority.  The scope of this tutorial is mainly on formal elements of poster creation; when it comes to creating the actual content, it is up to you.  Luckily, there are many resources available online.  For additional tips and resources, visit Virtual Poster Showcase’s page containing information on the poster process.
